Becoming An Advanced Beginner: The Secret Of Advanced Practice of Yoga By Stephen Parker (Stoma ji)

About the Talk

The secret of advanced practice in yoga is not in learning a lot of "advanced" techniques, but rather in refining the practice of fundamentals like breath awareness. In all the systems of yoga., the more technique there is to a practice the more it is intended for a beginning audience. To the extent that one refines the fundamentals, the advanced practices occur spontaneously.
