Sanskrit as Yoga & for Yoga by Anuradha Choudry

About the talk

We all have an intimate engagement with language in our lives and yet we seldom pause to ask ourselves fundamental questions about it like, 'What role does it play in formatting who we are, how we look at the world and relate to it?' 'Is the sole purpose of language thought-expression or do different languages generate different thought-formations altogether?' This session is an invitation to indulge in an open exploration of what Sanskrit is, what it offers as a method of yoga in itself and what is its importance for the world of yoga.
