The event was graced by two illustrious guests of honor: Sri Srihari Dwarkanath, A multifaceted personality, he is the Founder of GSS group of Institutions, an accomplished Entrepreneur, Business Leader, and a Yoga Adept and Sri Raghavendra Pai, A revered Senior Yoga Teacher and the Founder of Sri Veda Vyasa Yoga Foundation.
The event commenced with Dr. Vinayachandra Banavathy, the Co-founder and Director of Indica Yoga, setting the stage with his insightful opening remarks. He emphasized the core principles that drive Indica Yoga - the 3Cs: Consensus, Cooperation, and Collaboration. Dr. Banavathy elucidated how Indica Yoga has been a torchbearer of authentic yoga teachings for the past five years, organizing a plethora of courses, workshops, retreats, seminars, and festivals, all orchestrated through collaborative efforts. The Mysuru Yoga Utsava, as he revealed, marked a bold stride towards furthering this noble mission.

Dr. Raghavendra Pai, an eminent figure in the realm of yoga, took the stage to emphasize how yoga transcends boundaries, uniting people and communities in their pursuit of health, happiness, and well-being. He delved into Mysore's rich 200-year yoga tradition and heritage, paying homage to the scholarly kings of the Wodeyar dynasty, the legendary Sri Krishnamacharya, and Sri Rangapriya Swamiji of Ashtanga Yoga Vijnana Mandira. Dr. Pai also unveiled the treasure trove of wisdom within the rare 200-year-old text, Sri-tatvanidhi, which meticulously illustrates yoga asanas. Sri Aravind Prasad, the founder of Yogakshema Wellness Academy, shared his thoughts on transforming this endeavour into a mass movement. The event also received a vote of confidence from Sri B. P. Murthy, a respected senior yoga teacher.
