James Boag is a yoga practitioner based in the UK but teaches it differently. His experience of the state of Samadhi, began with sports and music in school... a state of 'being in the zone' as he describes it, by shutting out everything else.
He teaches Yoga by "including, inviting, gathering; about acknowledging, reconciling and integrating. It is the yoga – balance, harmony, sustainable easefulness, skilfulness, integrity – of the whole human being."
In this interview he talks to Aparna M Sridhar on his journey and his love for Yoga and other Indian ancient practices.
Do listen to him chant the most powerful of hymns, taken from Sri Valmiki's Ramayana - Aditya Hridayam.
