Day 15 Session 02: A Talk On Essence Of Yoga Therapy by Saraswathi Vasudevan

About the Talk

Our sense of well-being, above all, is defined by our current state of mind. To understand how yoga works as a therapeutic tool, one has to be able to work with the body, breath and mind in such a way that there is an experience of a better sense of well-being. And when such a state is sustained and improved upon, we can call that healing. Healing therefore is a function of the mind even if it appears like we are working with the body and its myriad symptoms. How can one move from dependence to independence through yoga therapy? This sessions charts the path and explores the tools and process for deeper healing: from illness to wellness.
