About the Practice Session

This physical body constantly undergoes various processes of transformation, which affect each and every molecule of its material substance. Hatha yoga is practiced in order to initiate a process in this physical body whereby the pranic currents and mental forces which interact with each other in the scheme of life facilitating this transformation. This practice session will focus on a specialized sequence of Hatha Yoga practices inlcuding Asana, Pranayama and Mudras.

Please keep the following aids accessible for the practice:-

1. Yoga mat
2. Hand towel
3. Water bottle
4. Mat next to a wall (wall as prop)
5. Yoga strap or any long cloth (dupatta kind)
6. Yoga blocks ( if available )
7. One soft cushion


About the Presenter

Dr. Karthik is a well known yoga exponent and therapist with over 15 years of experience. He has completed 500hrs TTC from Ujjain Yoga Life Society. Karthik has a great command of Sanskrit language and Yogic scriptures and is drawn towards yogic way of living.
Karthik holds a Master's degree and a Doctoral degree (PhD) in Yoga and Philosophy. He has studied Veda and Vedanta from Veda Vijnana Gurukulam, Bangalore.
