About the Session
Contemporarily there are different perspectives on happiness, wellness, and well-being which are discussed in positive psychology. Yoga is one of the most ancient discipline that also addresses issues related to human happiness and well-being. In this session these two - modern and ancient - approaches to well-being will be discussed with the aid of a few stories/biographical material.
About the Presenter
Kiran Kumar K Salagame Was trained as a Clinical Psychologist and served as a Faculty in the Department of Studies in Psychology in the University of Mysore. Focused on bringing together ancient Indian psychological insights with those of modern psychology through theoretical and empirical studies.
