Day 29 Session 01: Exploring Maitri & Karuna Through Asana-Pranayama by Hariprasad Varma

About the Practice Session

In this session, participants will get an opportunity to experience yoga practice in the tradition of Sri Krishnamacharya-Desikachar. The focus of the practice will be to explore the ideas of maitri (friendliness) and karuna (compassion) from Patanjali's Yogasutras in the context of one's asana-pranayama practice. Session will also focus on how a Bahiranga Yoga Sadhana can be a stepping stone to Antaranga Yoga Sadhana (Inner Work Through Yoga).

Please Note: All our participants are requested to bring colours (oil pastels) and a drawing book or A3 plain sheet also for session.
